Jonesweb
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 1, 2026
This policy explains how Jonesweb websites, applications, and private household services handle information.
Information we handle
Depending on the service, Jonesweb may handle:
- account information that you provide, such as a username or email address;
- content and settings that you choose to store in a Jonesweb service;
- limited technical data needed to operate and secure services, such as request times, IP addresses, browser details, and error logs; and
- information from a third-party service when you explicitly connect that service to Jonesweb.
How information is used
Information is used to provide requested features, authenticate users, maintain reliability, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and improve Jonesweb services. Jonesweb does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Connected services
A Jonesweb service may connect to an external provider only when that integration is configured. Information received from a provider is used only for the connected feature and is subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
Google Calendar
Jonesweb Family Dashboard requests read-only Google Calendar access. It reads calendar metadata and events only to identify and display the household's Family calendar. It cannot create, edit, or delete Google Calendar data. Google credentials stay on the private Jonesweb server and are never sent to the dashboard browser.
Jonesweb's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage, retention, and sharing
Information may be stored on private Jonesweb infrastructure for as long as it is needed to provide a service, meet security or backup needs, or comply with applicable obligations. Some integrations cache provider data temporarily so a service can remain useful during an outage.
Information is not shared with third parties except when necessary to run a requested service, when you direct Jonesweb to do so, or when required by law. Service providers may process limited information on Jonesweb's behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Security and choices
Jonesweb uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. You may disconnect an integration through the relevant provider, including Google's third-party connections page. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information where applicable.
Children and policy changes
Public Jonesweb services are not directed to children under 13. Private household services may display family information under the control of the household administrator. This policy may be updated as services change; the date above identifies the latest version.
